Police question four individuals in connection with Joslin Smith’s disappearance

Western Cape detectives have intensified their efforts in the search for missing Grade 1 pupil Joslin Smith, with the questioning of four individuals linked to her disappearance. According to provincial police spokesperson Novela Potelwa, the individuals being interviewed include two men and two women aged between 26 and 34.

Joslin, aged six, has been missing for over two weeks after she was left in the care of her mother’s boyfriend. The investigation has sparked widespread community involvement, with teams of detectives, volunteers, and community members combing various locations within the West Coast town in search of the young girl.

Potelwa expressed confidence in an imminent breakthrough in the case, stating that the investigation has gained momentum with detectives visiting multiple places and interviewing several individuals. The collaborative efforts involving various stakeholders, including NGOs, community activists, police officials, and government representatives, highlight the determination to find Joslin.
