Limpopo Police make massive drug bust: Two foreign nationals arrested, drugs worth R3 Million seized

In a significant operation on Monday morning, Limpopo police intercepted a vehicle transporting heroin with an estimated street value of R3 million. The multi-disciplinary effort led to the arrest of two foreign national male suspects as officers acted on intelligence to apprehend the suspects along the R510 en route from Tanzania to Thabazimbi.

The meticulous operation revealed a hidden compartment within the vehicle containing a substantial quantity of heroin drugs.

Lieutenant General Hadebe commended the dedication of the police officers involved, emphasizing their commitment to combating illegal narcotics and ensuring the safety of communities.

The arrested suspects, aged 55 and 56, are currently in custody, and investigations are underway to uncover the network responsible for this significant drug trafficking operation.
