On Wednesday, members of Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) searched for two individuals involved in a stabbing and robbery at a Doctor’s surgery in Trenance Park, KZN.
The incident unfolded when a 37-year-old man visited the surgery for a medical consultation concerning an undisclosed ailment. Shortly thereafter, two men arrived, claiming to need medical assistance. However, they brandished knives and demanded valuables from the male patient seated in the waiting area.
In an attempt to resist the robbery, the victim grappled with the assailants, resulting in multiple stab wounds to his back, left arm, and chest. The suspects fled with the victim’s Samsung cellphone.
Responding promptly, the Doctor pursued the robbers on foot until they disappeared into a dense bush. Upon returning to his surgery, the Doctor provided immediate medical attention, stabilizing the injured patient.
The victim was swiftly transported to the hospital by ambulance for further medical care. As of now, the search for the perpetrators is ongoing.
