As the Hey Neighbour Festival concludes its three-day extravaganza on Sunday, attendees are showering praise on the impeccable organization of the event, held at the Legends Adventure Farm in Pretoria.
Throughout the weekend, music enthusiasts enjoyed a diverse lineup featuring both local and international musical heavyweights, culminating in a memorable performance by renowned rapper Kendrick Lamar on Saturday night.
Despite the scorching weather, festival-goers reported a seamless experience, citing well-managed logistics, excellent food options, and top-notch musical performances. Palesa Motshwane, attending on a day pass, expressed satisfaction with the event’s traffic management, stating, “It was a very short congestion. It wasn’t as crazy as I expected it to be.”
While the overall feedback has been overwhelmingly positive, some on-site campers shared minor challenges, particularly regarding water and electricity supply. One festival-goer mentioned difficulties in charging her phone, impacting her ability to share the experience on social media. Another camper acknowledged these issues but highlighted how they fostered a sense of camaraderie among attendees.
Despite these minor inconveniences, the Hey Neighbour Festival is being celebrated not only for its stellar musical lineup but also for creating a vibrant and memorable experience for all in attendance.
