Police Seize 18 Firearms, Score of Ammunition, and Arrest 13 Suspects

A tense standoff between two alleged security companies affiliated with different taxi associations erupted into a violent shootout in Kagiso, West Rand District, on Tuesday evening. The incident left two individuals injured and led to the arrest of 13 suspects and the seizure of a cache of firearms and ammunition.

According to police reports, officers from the West Rand District were dispatched to the scene in response to reports of gunfire between two rival security companies.
