Washington D.C., USA – In a series of shocking revelations, members of Congress have brought to light the existence of a long-concealed program within the United States government that retrieves and reverse engineers Unidentified Flying Objects (UFOs). The disclosure has sparked widespread interest and intrigue, prompting questions about the nature of these unidentified aerial phenomena and the government’s efforts to understand their origins.
During a congressional hearing on unidentified aerial phenomena (UAPs) held on the 26th July, a former Air Force intelligence officer testified about his knowledge and experiences related to UFO sightings. The hearing provided an unprecedented opportunity for public disclosure and transparency on a topic that has long been shrouded in secrecy.
One of the key revelations came from Retired Maj. David Grusch, who stated that the U.S. government has been running a covert program to collect and study UFO data for decades. He asserted that, “I was informed in the course of my official duties of a multi-decade UAP crash retrieval and reverse engineering program to which I was denied access,” he said.
Asked whether the U.S. government had information about extraterrestrial life, Grusch said the U.S. likely has been aware of “non-human” activity since the 1930s.
The Pentagon has denied Grusch’s claims of a coverup. In a statement, Defense Department spokeswoman Sue Gough said investigators have not discovered “any verifiable information to substantiate claims that any programs regarding the possession or reverse-engineering of extraterrestrial materials have existed in the past or exist currently.” The statement did not address UFOs that are not suspected of being extraterrestrial objects.
Grusch says he became a government whistleblower after his discovery and has faced retaliation for coming forward. He declined to be more specific about the retaliatory tactics, citing an ongoing investigation.
While the recent congressional hearing provides a significant step towards shedding light on the issue, many questions remain unanswered. The U.S. government’s stance on UFOs and UAPs has evolved over the years, and the current disclosure marks a pivotal moment in bringing this intriguing topic to the forefront of public discussion.
