International pop sensation Westlife will be bringing their highly-anticipated The Wildest Dreams Tour to South Africa in November.
Big Concerts have announced that two South African shows have been penciled in, starting on 1 November at the Grand West Arena in Cape town and concluding on 3 November at SunBet Arena, Time Square in Pretoria.
Tickets will officially go on sale at 9am on Friday 12 May, while Discovery Bank is facilitating ticket pre-sales from 9am on Wednesday 10 May until 8:59pm on Friday.
The Wild Dreams Tour kicked off in 2022 and the prolific boy band has made their way through the UK and Europe since.
The multi-award-winning group, consisting of Nicky Byrne, Kian Egan, Shane Filan and Mark Feehily, hit the music scene in 1998 and took the world by storm. Since then, they have secured 33 No.1 albums worldwide and have sold over 55 million records worldwide.
Westlife have also had the most singles of any artist to debut at No.1 in the UK. Touting an astounding 14 No.1 singles, the Irish group finds themselves behind only Elvis Presley and The Beatles.
Fans are advised to avoid buying tickets on Viagogo as the tickets are unlawfully resold by deceitful sellers multiple times the face value and are not legitimate. “Should you purchase these tickets, you will be denied entry into the venue, and you will not be entitled to a refund,” highlighted the media release.
